The eoVision GmbH is a company specialized on the trade wich satellite data and geoinformatics and is mainly active in the business areas of consulting, data acquisition and -handling as well as in the application of geographic data and the development of multimedia products on the basis of satellite imagery.
"The team of eoVision comprises experts from the fields of geography, cartography, geoinformatics, satellite remote sensing, biology and physics. Based on their education and professional work they have collected substantial expertise in all fields relevant for their work at eoVision. The founders of eoVision, Gerald Mansberger and Markus Eisl, have been working in the remote sensing industry for more than 20 years. They have acquired profound expertise in the acquisition, processing, evaluation, analysis, and interpretation of remote sensing data as well as in the production of high-end print and multimedia products. They have built an extended network of national and international contacts both with the geoinformation industry and the scientific community. Within eoVision their special competence is expanded through the strategic partner BGIS GmbH, a geo-informatics company also located in Salzburg. The managing director of BGIS, Paul Schreilechner, is part of the eoVision management team and is actively supporting sales and distribution of the company's products."

Description of internship-content
During my internship I have mainly been charged with the task of developing new video-content and to improove the touch-screen user interface for the companys newest product: The VisionGlobe. The user interface was based on html and JavaScript, whereas the content was developed with Adobe's After Effects. Below you can see the official promo-video for the VisionGlobe.
